The large-scale looped projection on the bare ground of
a church tower ruin deals – as my whole diploma – with
the matter of formlessness. It reflects the theoretically
elaborated contents in an artistic way. The viewer is
confronted with sequences of myself spitting water onto
a water covered glass sheet, filmed from below. The
repetitive
movements of the surface of the water keep
the form of my face constantly in the balance between
definition and disfigurement. The installed scaffolding
gives the viewer the opportunity to experience the
projection
from up to 8 meters away and to look at it
from different perspectives.
